Now T4 (AA gates) and TBIT (Qantas lounge) are connected airside, it's ~10-15 minutes walk between Qantas lounge and your gate, and Admirals Club in T4 will fully closed instead of partially closed for renovation once T5 Admirals Club (former Delta Sky Club) reopened.
ps: AAdvantage oneworld elites aren't allowed to access lounge if they're flying on Domestic/Canada/Mexico except Mexico City/Caribbean itinerary unless they're an Admirals Club member.

You would be able to access the Oneworld lounge even if you are an Aadvantage sapphire/emerald as you would be coming off an international itinerary. Any ticket that includes an international leg allows access to any oneworld lounge.
In this case, as you come out of customs at LAX (you will either clear customs in T4 or TBIT pending your visa status), clear security again at TBIT and go straight to the oneworld/qantas lounge. Once you're ready to board, walk through the TBIT/T4 connector right near the lounge which is a 7min walk to T4, all airside.
I recently did this transfer (July 19) and have done many trips to Toronto over the years. They now have a security screening transfer lane right outside of where you put checked baggage back on the belt, which saves you having to go out on the street to T4, instead taking you directly into T4. Beware, however, the queue for this new security screening lane can take about 20 minutes.
So, depending on whether your inbound flight is on-time, how long it takes you to clear immigration, collect your bag for re-deposit, clear customs, and put your bag back on the connectors belt, you may need to make that shower super snappy.
Luckily (for my shower, not my schedule), my LAX-YYZ flight was delayed by an hour, so I managed to get in a lovely shower & bite at the Qantas Oneworld Lounge in TBIT (via the T4-TBIT connector as previously mentioned above), for which you are eligible for as a Qantas Gold FF heading to Toronto.
