I am flying on board a Scoot flight to Kaohsiung via Singapore tonight. I was wondering if it'll be enough time to get to the airport three hours before the flight.
just last Friday I flew Sydney to Christchurch on the evening 5:45pm Qantas flight. I arrived around 2hr 30mins prior to departure and there was no wait at all.
LCC's are a different story as the lines tend to be very long - due to no Status priority check-in for economy as with all other full carrier airlines. So basically unless you're travelling business EVERYONE checks in via the economy line.
Great to see they have direct flights to Kaohsiung from Singapore again, it is good to know. It used to be a pain to go to Taipei and then down on the fast rail.

Thank you both! I was afraid that there'd be increased security measures given the recent events.

With an LCC (who typically staff checkin thinly) I'd arrive 3.5+hrs early or 2hrs early - otherwise you will likely be in a longish queue

Reporting from gate lounge 51, immigration and security were both quick. Hardly any queue at all.
