Hey, in three weeks I'll be flying SilkAir from Penang and then transiting through SIN onwards to Perth as a Velocity Platinum (or Gold if my new membership card doesn't turn up in time).

I'm aware that I should have access to priority check-in in Penang and priority boarding for both flights. But what about the four non-status guests traveling with me on the same booking? Can we all check-in together and board together, if I had all their boarding passes in my hand with mine on top for example?

Just want to avoid any potential awkward situations like 'sorry your friends need to go back to the other line'. Thanks for any assistance :)

Usually this is fine with one other guest (after all, you can use the lounge together too if one is available), but can't say I've ever tried with four others.

Hi Chris, that's fair enough. I wouldn't ever dare try enter the lounge with 4 guests, but I will give check-in and boarding a try :)

They are usually pretty lax at check-in. Boarding I'd say you have a 50-50 chance, and lounge I'd say no chance.
