The metal doesn't matter, just as long as you book under the QF flight number.

I was definitely booked on all QF flight numbers.

While we are sharing DSC cautions, when booking under one of these promos do not use any vouchers you may have from previously cancelled bookings. They are not counted by QF as a new booking and therefore don't qualify for the promo SC's

I'm discovering that the hard way right now - I had vouchers which I purchased for myself in order to take advantage of an Amex deal at the time, and it looks like that might cost me 20 SCs. Arguing it with Qantas in the hopes they'll give it to me anyway...
