Thread was started just to say something unusual was doing a revenue flight into CBR and more of a plane spotters thing. Didn’t realise it was tied to an event. Vietnam airlines plane was because the head of state was in town:
Flew this yesterday. I would feel sorry for anyone stuck in anything but J. QANTAS has done great job at hyping this. I will happily continue transiting through Asia or the Mid East rather than sit on this from Perth to London.

Just noticed the Qantas 787 Dreamliner made a quick visit from Melbourne to Canberra and is heading back as we speak.
