With Qantas ditching Dubai as the London stopover, Emirates have introduced a new A380 service at the same time as the old QF1 at 4.30pm.

I suspect there is no QF code as QF offers the same service (syd-lhr) at the same time.

I think you'll find that the EK - QF partnership and other approvals are needed before it occurs.

I’ve got a qff first class classic award ticket on EK 417 in May,don’t know if that makes a difference regarding code share.

Not relevant as the Award flights tend to book onto the code of the carrier.
