Can you purchase access to the Qantas Club as a day pass for casual entry?

Can you purchase access to the Qantas Club as a day pass for casual entry? I am an Air New Zealand Koru Club member and am travelling DUD-AKL-SYD on Air New Zealand, however, I am then flying SYD-TMW on a Qantas Link flight so my Premium Customer status stops when on QF. Unfortunately Virgin Australia does not fly to TMW so that rules out a NZ/DJ codeshare. Thanks

I believe Qantas Club does not allow purchase of single-entry passes for casual entry (barring exceptional circumstances such as Christmas gift season). I'm afraid you're almost certainly going to have to slum it in Terminal 2.

Watson's correct, Qantas currently doesn't offer casual walk-up rates for the Qantas Club. They did this (for the first time ever) before Christmas and have told AusBT they'll likely repeat the exercise for other short one-off promotions (http://www.ausbt.com.au/qantas-mulls-more-sales-of-single-entry-qantas-club-passes) - so if you think you may be in this situation again, it'd be worth watching for this deal to re-appear. But for now, you'll have to cool your heels at one of the cafes in T2!
