We flew Qantas a couple of days ago. We ordered two special meals and a fruit platter. My wife selected the correct options on the website and even called to confirm at least a week in advance.
Somehow they had my wife and daughter down as no meal, which meant they had nothing to eat but some fruit and chocolate. This was also around dinner time.
I will make a complaint asking for compensation, but I would like to know what I could resonably ask for.

Forgetting the bit of humour above, what flight were you on as some more info is needed to provide some context.
Straight out asking for compo isn't going to win any friends.
