I thought QF's A380 flights were always delayed due to the tight utilisation schedule and little opportunity for recovering the lost time so 11 hrs will cause a fair few problems down the track

Anybody know why Qantas flight 9 from Melbourne last night has been delayed by over 11 hours. Now expected to depart at 10.30 today

Don't know, but looks like at least some connecting passengers have been stuck at the airport overnight as a result: https://twitter.com/Ailgop/status/964971122012798976

QF93 had a massive delay too. I think a 380 broke down as there were two there at 9am yesterday parked.
