Qantas commences using A380 to Singapore one again today as QF81/82. I thought we might have heard from Qantas regarding the lounge situation by now? It’s not long until London is re-routed. I’m not heading to Singapore until May, but not looking forward to seeing how busy the lounge will be!

I Never use the Qantas lounge in Singapore: its usually full of drunken chavs. This is a CLUB lounge not a biz lounge.
Go next door and use the BA lounge instead...

Couldn't agree more, completely embarrassing how some of the alco bogans act in lounges

I don’t really believe JQ pax should be entitled to use the lounge even if they have high status.

Should standardize the airport experience with that in the air and chuck them a voucher for Burger King instead.

Spot on - that's why I love flying SQ only people in the Silver lounge in SIN flying business or first, no bogans and his vis pigs drinking like fish and ruining it for everyone else, let them stay in the gold lounge!

I used the business lounge on Friday 9 March and overcrowding is a massive issue - The boarding lounge provided a better working environment (quieter, access to AC etc).

Seriously thinking about moving to SQ for this leg as I have not experienced lounge issues to date.

Am travelling on QF1 next week to LHR... what has the Qantas SGN lounge been like since the re-routing via SGN last week? Is it really over-crowded; did they provide separate areas for First Class passengers? cheers

Qantas Platinum flying Qatar business class, and refused entry today to the Qantas Lounge here at Singapore.

Sure, I know they can refuse me entry..... but to get to a point when you're refusing access to your own top tier frequent flyers because the lounge is "full" means the lounge situation is out of control.

This has now cemented my decision to focus now on tier status with Singapore Air and other star alliance. Frequent SYD-SG, SYD-SG-LHR here in premium or business. Second time refused entry now to the Qantas SG lounge, and sick of Qantas taking forever to upgrade their A380 and 747 fleet with proper business class and wifi like everyone else.
