You say in the new Malasian Airlines article re them joining Oneworld "Youâll also be able to burn your Qantas Frequent Flyer points for reward seats and upgrades on Malaysia Airlines flights".
Is that correct?, if so I should be able to burn them on CX as well?.

You can book reward seats on CX with QF points... Not so sure about being able to get upgrades though... Although you can only book reward seats on CX if they happen to come up when you search for seats on the QF Frequent Flyer website....

Think the "upgrades" point is wrong.
The only airline you can upgrade with QFF points is QF.
Note however that AA (for example) can upgrade AA, BA and IB

We got the "rewards seats and upgrades" line directly from Malaysia Airlines, so for specific details I suggest you contact MAS.
