Recently I have had issues with points not being credited from S7, EK and recently Jetstar to my QF account. Apart from checking your account regularly, was wondering how other members find the best way to keep track of points earned on other OW carriers, QF codeshare and even Jetstar to ensure they are credited and at the correct rate??
Always keep your boarding pass after the trip till the points and status credit has been credited to you accounts. and also, it has a points calculator on Qantas website you could use for the amount of the points and status credit you earn when flying with other OW carriers. https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/flying/points-calculators
Definitely agree with @Desm1999 comments on keeping your boarding passes. The time it takes to have the SC and points credited varies between OW partners and also other QF partner airlines.
Keep everything. A copy of your booking and all boarding passess. Took flights on OW carriers not long ago and waited 6 weeks and nothing. Finally got the SCs and points after many calls to incompetent QF call Centre who said I had to prove that I took the flights as they didn't believe me that included JQ
From my experience, it usually takes up to 6-8 weeks before partner points and SCs are awarded. Submit a claim via the QFF page if you're unsure if you've added your QFF number to the booking.
I have just returned from a trip to the US on JAL and also flew AA. AA status credits and points came in quickly. The JAL ones took about 6 to 7 days. My experience with flying Cathay and also JetAirways flights on a QF ticket (Qantas partner not OW airline) has also been around a week for the credits.
I fly a lot on AA. QF points can be credited within literally 1-2 business days. Used to take a week or more, it’s certainly got much faster. Like others I keep all boarding passes until the points appear.
Think i need to start keeping more boarding passes :-) .. I missed out on J points and status flying S7 earlier in the year, QF would only award Y without a boarding pass.
Now currently 3.5 weeks and 3 weeks waiting on 2 Jetstar flights points, put a claim in an Qantas says it can take up to 28 days for "partner" airlines.

It sounds silly, but I use a spreadsheet and check them off when awarded.
