As a general rule of thumb, any points reward redemption tickets won’t give you any points, status credits or a chance to try for an upgrade. As you redeemed your ticket with Alaska miles, you will not get anything.
I'm looking at using Alaska Air miles to book a US-Aus flight next year. Will I get Qantas status credits for this flight?
I'd love to hear a follow up on your booking experience - can you confirm route details for someone like me who has AA points parked and waiting but unable to find a flight to claim. I'm wanting to travel AUS to USA then return to AUS. I've tried via HK or east coast of AUS to USA - the AA booking site is not the best.

Miles redemptions from other airlines for Qantas flights are treated as Classic rewards - no frequent flier points and no status credits either.

Nope. Award redemptions = no points/status credits.
