Hello AUSBT Community,
I've read that UA offers PJs on SYD-IAH services, but cannot confirm whether or not these are routinely given out on SYD-LAX and SYD-SFO services as part of the amenity package?
Flying to SFO tomorrow and am keen to know if I should pack my own.
Thanks for your help!

I was upgraded SYD LAX when I did the status match challenge to premier platinum. I don't remember being offered PJs, then again I wouldnt be surprised if you have to ask.

Off-topic sort of... I LOVE my Qatar Airways jammies gvien to me in two Business Class sectors form AKL-DOH-CDG. They are White Company brand and fit really well (XXL size) I don't wear jammies while on planes but they are great for loungewear at home. Lovely soft jersey cotton-type fabric, well designed and extremely comfy. Ahhhh...

Have to agree. I flew Tegel to Doha a few weeks ago, and even though only a five hour flight we got pjamas. Very comfortable. Stupidly, I packed them in my checkin bag in Singapore, forgetting that I would need them on the SIA flight to Melbourne. Does anyone know why SIA doesn't have PJ's?

Yes, UA list the 'upon request' items in the menu. I think because at boarding, the seat is already quite 'busy' with the other bedding/amenities, and as the flights depart SYD/MEL in the morning people don't usually want them immediately. Big fan of the gel pillow.

You can take the PJ's with you as well, I use them at home a lot more than I thought I would.

Have to say, not a fan of the United pajamas. Not particularly attractive. Very baggy for a slim person. But more to the point, far too warm, when you already have a blanket over you. Have to bring my own, thinner garments in order to be able to sleep.
