Hi Guys
I'm Star Alliance gold - flying SQ in economy, MEL - LHR. Have a 3-hour layover in SIN with a 6 year old, so keen to freshen up.
Question is, are there are lounges I can use in SIN with a shower? I've tried looking, the Kris Flyer Gold Lounge doesn't appear to have one (from memory it's not a 'great' lounge either). Doesn't look like the Royal Silk lounge does either (Is this a better option also, have never been in there?)
Much appreciated

This is one of those times where Priority Pass can be your friend. Unfortunately, the only other lounge you could access as a Gold frequent flyer would be the Thai Airways lounge over in T1, which also has no showers.

There are also three airside hotels which you can book (for a minimum of 6 hours, but nobody says you have to stay that long).

That's a great way to entertain the 6-year-old - thanks for that info, that's the way I will go I think!

According to the Star Alliance website Star Alliance Gold also allows access to the SATS Premier lounge in Changi if travelling in economy on SQ. I haven't visited the lounge but it does have showers and by all accounts is far superior to the Kris Flyer Gold Lounge.Â

Referencing Chris' earlier comment on the Thai lounge in Singapore, it's diabolical, so don't bother!

I'm afraid to say that the ambassador lounge / hotel no longer takes the Changi vouchers as I found out last night.
Cheapest bet is to use the pool only package at the Aerotel which has a shower facility attached.
