i dont think its a hilton anymore - taken over by clarion? we travel twice a year to copenhagen and always stay in the city which is close by (20min taxi) and much more things to do, places to eat - although if tht doesnt suit metro straight from airport hotel to town if you prefer staying on site in the clarion (although havnt stayed on site - we love hotel kong frederik on radhus plas - lovely location and nice hotel

I’ve been looking at Hotel Kong Frederik for a trip next year (first time visitor to Copenhagen).Any recommendations on room types? It gets mixed reviews on TripAdvisor so appreciate any tips!

we have stayed twice and booked again to go next year on the annual visit to the rellos - we like its location next to radhus plas at the end of the strogel shopping street and also close to tivoli - its a great location - a bit noisy to be honest but they have inner double glazing windows to cope - we normally have the standard room with the only 'issue' being no tea and coffee facilities - these are extra - small rooms and small bathrooms but this is pretty standard for copenhagen - its also easily walkable from central station if you get train from the airport to central copenhagen - and generally not too expensive - id recommend it but i am used to danish small hotels and small bathrooms now! breakfast included normally and is a great spread!
