Lounge access with Gold FF card, with different miles program on ticket?

Hi all, I am wondering if one can access the qantas Hong Kong lounge with a gold QFF card, if my Cathay ticket has my (non-elite) asiamiles number attached? I travel on Cathay Pacific and Dragon regionally a lot, and most economy ticket fares lower than full economy don’t provide any Qantas points or status credits. So I’m hoping I can rack up asiamiles points on these flights, while still enjoying qantas lounge access with my gold QFF card. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Does it work? Yes you can. Just show them your card on entry.

Sure can. OneWorld status provides entry. Irrespective of which OW carrier you are on and which program you credit the miles too.

You may find that the Lounge agent will request you remove your Asiamiles number replacing it with your QFF number before admitting entry.
