Got a Finnair flight coming up from HKG to HEL in business. According to Finnair website, Business class passengers can now use the new-ish Plaza Premium First lounge. Anyone has had experiences there recently? Is it worth a visit? Or am I better off going straight to The Pier Business lounge which had been my previous go-to lounge at HKG? Cheers!
This lounge is more premium than the normal Plaza Premium Lounges as indicated by the 'First' moniker. The buffet and food and beverage is quite nice, the showers are good but you'd have to pay for some more expensive liquor and alcohol. Overall, I'd say its slightly less good than the Cathay lounges but worth a visit nonetheless.

Thanks for the info. Might start with Plaza Premium First and see how things go. If not great then will move onto CX lounges.
Visited this lounge 2 weeks ago flying Qatar and like you could use CX lounges. I really loved this lounge as did my traveling companions, they have a good a la carte restaurant (try the meatless burger). You also received a complimentary 10 minute neck and shoulder massage, they will give you a pager to let you know when it’s time. What I liked most was the quietness of the lounge, so much more peaceful than any of the CX lounges or QF lounge. Lastly they do have a 3 hour limit.

Plaza Premium is basic. Use the CX lounges or the QF lounges.

Thanks for the info. Not planning on getting to the airport too early so 3 hours should be fine. Will check it out.

Thanks for your comment. Are you saying the Cathay lounge has a three hour limit? Or is that the Plaza Premium lounge that has the three hour limit?

The Plaza Premium First lounge has the three hour limit. No limit for Cathay lounges
