Qantas has just scheduled Boeing 747 flights between Sydney and Melbourne/Brisbane/Adelaide on a few dates between November 2019 and Feb 2020. Adelaide and Brisbane get 1 return flight each and Sydney gets 2. Dates and flight numbers here: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/284681/qantas-schedules-boeing-747-domestic-service-in-nw19/

would this be out of the domestic terminals? Now, that would be a sight to savour.

Yes. I’ve seen the B747 at Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne domestic terminals. A rare sight these days indeed!

Might've accidentally booked some J reward seats to get on the old girl for a whirlwind romance.

Mr Joyce, 2021 is the Golden Anniversary of the first 747 flights from Australia. How about keeping at least one to celebrate that great day, or even a few more days in 2021? You'd get more appreciation and love from passengers who dread the squeezy 787 nightmare liner.

Does this mean we’ll finally be seeing the end of the QF63 & 64 747s that are way past their prime? Incredible flying machines, however these particular ladies’ internals have been neglected.
