I have qantas flight from Sydney to brisbane at 7.00 a.m. and have connecting international flight from brisbane at 10.10 a.m. since time available is too short can I allowed to change flight time to 6.30 a.m. when it is available so that I have sufficient time. I have the ticket from Mumbai through agent. Is it simple and have any charges.if allowed whom to contact at Sydney.

You've booked with a travel agent, so will need to contact your travel agent.

Is your connecting international flight on Qantas? If so, I wouldn't worry about it. If your Sydney to Brisbane happened to be delayed , and you missed the connection flight, Qantas would financially/logistically cover it.

95mins is plenty of time to transfer in brisbane. If you ask for an earlier flight, the airline would charge you. In rare situations, if you rocked up earlier and explained this to the agent, there is a chance they will pop you on an earlier flight at no cost (this has happened to me few times before).

In the past when I have had a domestic flight connecting to an international flight (on the same ticket), Qantas has encouraged me to move flights (only once at the airport). They much prefer to get you to the international flight on time then have to organise your re-routing. All comes down to the check in agent of course. But I’d get to Sydney Domestic early and ask.

Immigration in brisbane takes no more than 10mins even with the morning rush. Most (99%) of outgoing passengers have to use smart gates, which takes seconds. Security is very quick and efficient. The international flight won't wait for you, but with 95mins to transfer, you will make it with plenty of time to spare.

The only question is: Would your domestic flight run late, this is unlikely, especially leaving sydney in the morning. Never hurts to ask for an earlier flight!

Not overly helpful to the OP, because like many he wants some reassurance that if the domestic flight is half an hour late he still has sufficient transfer time. The fact that on the last five days, the latest it's been is 11 minutes late arriving at its aerobridge doesn't mean it won't be more badly affected on the day the OP travels.

Unless there are multiple passengers - maybe 10 or more - QF international flights rarely wait (although it depends on the delay expected from passengers yet to board.)

You could mention to the SYD to BNE cabin crew if the plane is late you have a connecting international flight. They may give you priority disembarkation. They have done it for me.

More then enough time. Some travel companies will book it with 45-60min DOM to INT transfer for BNE when ticked all the way through on Qantas

If its a Qantas connection luggage should already be checked through and boarding pass in hand so you have plenty of time
