Turkish Airlines introduces new business class bedding

Turkish Airlines is promising a better sleep in the sky with the introduction of new business class bedding for intercontinental flights.

Designed in conjunction with European company Zorlu Textiles Group and dubbed the Flow Sleeping Set, the collection integrates feedback from passengers to promote in-flight comfort and a better sleep experience, while also taking cues from the Star Alliance member’s updated uniforms and cabin designs.

The quilt features a two-sided design and a soft texture, while simultaneously being lightweight enough to support air circulation – useful for maintaining an ideal body temperature in often-warm cabins.

The sleeping mattress provides better padding and support to the seat when it comes time to snooze, with pillows shaped for comfort when both sitting and sleeping.

The new bedding collection will progressively be rolled out on intercontinental flights from Istanbul that have fully flat beds in business class (not to be confused with Turkish Airlines Comfort Class).

This includes the Boeing 777-300ER and selected Airbus A330 flights with 28 or 30 seats in business class, along with the forthcoming Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 jets which will also feature the airline's new business class seats.

The airline promises these swish berths will offer "full flat, full access, full privacy”: a trio of traveller-friendly traits, delivered in a modern 1-2-1 layout.

This includes a 44" seat pitch, an 18" HD video display, plenty of space in the 'generous footwell' cubby and a privacy screen between the paired middle seats.

Enjoyed reading your review Brandon. This Turkish Airlines bedding look very nice and expensive. Also easy on the eyes to look at. Sure a winner.

I do feel the new cabin looks muchhhh more cramped than the current indeed spacious cabin on the 777 -300ER and the A333 ,which boast the most spacious Biz cabins in the sky .
Airlines are increasingly migrating to the new designs ( available in the market ) citing privacy and other reasons but all this jeopardizes the most important factor in a Business Class cabin : SPACE ..

Always wanted to try TK.

The seats look good from the pics & the new bedding looks good.

However, is it just me or does the overall cabin colour scheme seem a tad dreary.
