After Qantas's behaviour with a "refundable" credit of some $18K I don't intend to ever fly with Qantas again. Virgin can no longer be bothered to fly into our regional airport. I guess that makes for a NO1 doesn't it

IMO, the new "normal" will be very different to the old one. Maybe the planes seized at airports are leased ones? Let Macquarie Bank or whoever keep them! Senior business people that used to be flying SIN-LAX-ABU all the time are now teleconferencing

The other thing to do is to fly business! Get on a redeye, lie down, have a sleep and save both a hotel for the night and an extra day. Perhaps you need to do the sums? (Sorry, consult your financial advisor to give you an actuarial assessment)

PQQ-BNE, PQQ-SYD, PQQ- anywhere!!!!! no Business class available! Sardine Class only!If we come off Business from elsewhere I sure as "Heck" want lounge waiting, waiting for the connection.
