How do people feel about Virgin's 4Points/$ earning on flights vs Qantas' set point earnings??

I noticed this as well, about 4 weeks ago for a MEL-SYD and SYD-ADL, took about 3 days, with QF. Although the other week on MEL-OOL points and status credits went through instantly.

If someone is departing on QF10 to Melbourne (international flight, domestic leg) would QF Gold flying economy be able to get into the international lounge in T4 as it's an international flight?

I also noticed status credits and points from domestic flights have taken about 2 days to come into QF account. maybe they're having a slow crediting week or so? I found that odd as usually points and status credits are in QF account by the time the plane lands?
