Nov 21, 2024, 06:14 PMYes, and I've noticed how much airfares have come down since Qatar was allowed more flights into Aus. NOT. The clever thing to do ex AUS is book into Asia, then from Asia to EU; you'll save 5K easy on QF /QR etc and still get sc and points-if not more.

LHR lounges
Aug 22, 2024, 05:19 PMOther than being an F pax and being able to access the Concorde lounge, Galleries First and Galleries are busy, zoo, cafeteria style lounges. Modern yes, but waaaay overcrowded most times. That said, I wouldn't bother changing terminals; that in itself is a painful exercise - air or land side.
