We flew SING-SYD last week and at 9pm, there was a queue outside the lounge and it was 100% capacity for seating. Had to sit on the floor for 15 mins to wait for a seat , shameful.

Mine came in after 5 business days. Provided my VA Gold card and a screen shot of my VA personal details. They did not ask to see activity statement.

It says flights taken with other Star Alliance airlines don't contribute to your challenge.However, if you signed up for 90 days Gold status, were approved, and took no United flights, would you move down to Silver status with United after the 90 days? Is this the equivalent of Star Alliance Silver?

Apologies if I have misunderstood the obvious - does TopBonus Gold allow entry into the Etihad Lounge in Sydney (if travelling with Etihad on economy) ?
