IN BRIEF | Qantas partner American Airlines is ramping up its LAX routes with new domestic US and Canadian services.
Los Angeles is already a major hub for Oneworld member American, with almost 50 domestic and international destinations on tap.
American will begin twice-daily flights between LAX and Vancouver from October 2, along with a daily service to Edmonton.
San Antonio, Texas, will also see two flights a day beginning October 2, with Tampa, Florida following daily from November 6.
The Tampa service will operate on a two-class Boeing 737-800 while Vancouver, Edmonton and San Antonio are being handled by a US Airways Express two-class Bombardier CRJ-900.
Bookings for all flights are available from June 21.

Travelling to the US, there is no oneworld lounge in the US section. I used the priority pass lounge for a small fee travelling on QF codeshare, Alaskan operated service. Alaskan do not operate a lounge there either.
