Bangkok gains its first luxury Ritz-Carlton hotel, opening in 2023
Thailand will gain its first Ritz-Carlton hotel in 2023 with the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok: a 259-room property currently under construction as part of a broader ‘One Bangkok’ lifestyle development in the city’s CBD.
Residing within a 50-storey commercial tower (pictured on the far left, above), the hotel will occupy the first 25 floors – offering guests panoramic views across the adjacent Lumphini Park – including those booked into one of 32 suites, or the brand’s signature Ritz-Carlton Suite.
Situated on Wireless Road within that One Bangkok development, The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok will draw on locally-influenced design paired with contemporary styling, with amenities spanning four restaurants and bars, the expected fitness facilities, and a ballroom expected to become the biggest of its kind in Thailand for exhibitions and events.
There’ll also be a day spa with six treatment rooms, wet lounges, whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms, open to both hotel guests and local visitors.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok builds on Marriott’s current portfolio of 19 hotels in the city across a variety of business and luxury brands including St. Regis, Le Meridien, Sheraton, JW Marriott, Marriott, Renaissance, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, Westin and others.

The property will also join the separate Ritz-Carlton Residences in the bustling Thai capital – being a high-end housing development, as opposed to a short-stay hotel – along with two Ritz-Carlton resorts in Koh Samui and Krabi (Phulay Bay).
