If you're a St George Bank customer and have the latest BlackBerry Torch 9800, accessing your internet banking while travelling is easy with the St George Banking Application.
You can locate St.George branches or St.George/Westpac/BankSA ATMs with the app, or do online banking -- account balances, transaction history, transfer money between your own St.George accounts, and create/view scheduled payments for the next 7 days.
The app also has St.George contact info and branch opening hours.
The St George Banking Application is free and available from BlackBerry App World.
Ah, but you're with another bank..?
There's also a Bank SA BlackBerry banking app with similar functionality.
Many other Australian banks also now have BlackBerry-compatible internet banking via the web browser, including ANZ, NAB, Commonwealth Bank, ING Direct and others. Westpac says it is planning to allow new BlackBerry OS 6 devices like the Torch 9800 access to its mobile internet banking soon.
