I hope so.Give it a year or two. I can't imagine the thought of a single aisle on such a sector. One takes for granted of the days of the era when Qantas had 747's,767's and in more recent times the A330 ON THE SYD-DPS-SYD flights.
Unlikely for the foreseeable future, QF are still short of widebody aircraft including A380s and 787s, hence why the A330s are taking up the work the 787 wouldve been doing otherwise.

Wondering, if there is any news / possibility for the Qantas A330 to return to the SYD-DPS route ?
6hrs +\~ on a 737 and even worse the 10pm overnight flight back to Sydney, the full flat A330 business seats are very much missed.
