I have never been to the Centurion lounge in Sydney. For people who have done both, which one is better suited for breakfast time please, in regards to food and space? I have a flight out of Sydney around 9am.

Last time i visited the first lounge was prior to the pandemic, and it was around lunch time.

You can't beat the QF First Lounge's a la carte breakfast menu options. It's definitely the better lounge of the two.

Try the corn fritters, they're excellent.

Hi @mscooper,

No question. Generally, airline lounges are better than paid and reward lounges like Centurion and Plaza Premium. Especially if its a QF First Lounge,

Just a comment on QF First lounge - I was there early in the day in November 22 and was only the breakfast menu. No all day dining options at all which was disappointing. Bain-marie bacon and eggs.....was hoping for some squid and a pavlova!

Sid - I will try the corn fritters when I am on another early flight in July. Thanks

You were probably in first lounge too close to it reopening as a dedicated first lounge and they were still getting things back up and running. The menus are always amazing as is the lounge generally. (Unlike the in-flight product which is sub par in almost every way - catering included).

As for comparing the two lounges there is no comparison. The first lounge far surpasses any lounge in Australia and many similar premium lounges internationally. Qantas do know how to do first class...unfortunately only on the ground and not in the air.

It’s a bit of a misnomer. All day dining starts at 11.00 after breakfast. I’ve had that issue as well and they gave me something off the all day dining menu a little early.
