Hi everyone,

I'm an 18 year old student who is travelling to Hong Kong in January.

My dad is a QFF and has a complimentary lounge access card that he wants to give to me for that flight. I'm flying Cathay Pacific on the flight in economy, so is it possible for me to get access to the lounge in Melbourne even though my dad isn't flying and I'm not on a QF flight?

Also, do these complimentary access cards allow for access to the International Business Lounge?

Thanks for your replies :)

Hi, sorry to tell you that the card is only usable when you are flying with Qantas or Jetstar.

If you are flying with Qantas, your dad doesn't have to accompany. All you need is your Qantas (or Jetstar) boarding pass and the access card. Also, the card is usable in the Qantas International Business Lounges.

Hope it helps :)

Sorry , Cathay was the wrong choice if you wish to access the lounge using the pass . If you are on QF  it would be no problem at all !
