Do you need a USA adapter to charge on united SYD - LAX

Hi William – you don't have to bring that on the flight, as United's Boeing 787-9s (which it flies on the SYD-LAX route) sport a common 'universal AC socket' which can take Aussie plugs. But in my experience, I always pack a US connector/adaptor in my travel-on gear because I'd rather have it with me and not in my checked luggage, in case that luggage is delayed.

Personally I like to have one both in carry on and another in my checked luggage.
