No rule against it, and I am sure I am not alone in doing it all the time :)
Definitely no reason you can't buy them for yourself ââ¬â many frequent flyers do just that every December when this offer pops up, as a way to maximise their points balance and also wipe out the booking fee for a bunch of trips for the year to come. I've bought a few vouchers for that very purpose :)
