I'm flying Qantas SYD-DFW return and have booked Premium Economy. Currently I've got 24K both ways as both QF's and Seat Guru's seat plan show no bulkhead between it and the emergency exit ahead. Can anyone confirm this? I've flow Business and Economy and walked though this cabin, but apart from the curtains blocking off the toilets I can't picture the legroom situation. Any help would be appreciated!
If you have the points I'd suggest putting in for an upgrade to Business. The lie flat seats you get in Business are a lot better than the recliners you get in PE or on some Domestic planes (e.g. 737) if you want to sleep.
I was on 24A on a SYD-LAX flight last month. It and 24K are the best in PE in my view. No obstruction of your leg room, no matter how long they are. You also get access to a storage compartment.
We flew back from DFW last week in 24J and 24K and 24K is terrific and 24J is really good. Plenty o space, sidelocker, window and no big protrusion from the exit door. I had 24J and wasn't hit by food trolley or other passenger once. We are coming back from DFW again in October, and are currently in 25 J&K, and hopefully 24 will become vacant as it did last time.

There is the door which sticks out slightly though no slides in the door on the upper deck.

When your legs are out in B and J you tend to get hit a lot by both people and trolleys, usually this happens when you are just getting to sleep :)

Access to the storage compartment in 24A and 24K but having free aisle access make these the best seats in premium by far.
