Heads-up: Qantas is offering a 25% discount on the number of Qantas Points required to book Classic Flight Rewards, for travel between October 9 2017 and June 30 2018 on Qantas, Jetstar and Jetstar Asia flights, and between October 9 2017 and March 24 2018 on Jetstar Japan flights.
Discounts are only valid for economy travel using points and only for flights operated by Qantas and Jetstar (no discount on Emirates bookings, for example, or for premium economy, business class or first class flight rewards).
Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable on the side at the usual rates (also not discounted).
Discounts available until 11:59pm on August 29 2017 (Sydney time).
Makes economy classic flight rewards a little less unattractive. A discount on Business/First rewards would be a lot better but there's already more than enough demand for those.

.. and if you have a connecting flight (within 24 hours) the discount is not applicable. Small print at the bottom of the email ..
