I'm travelling to Vancouver on Jan 1st with my children and wondering if there is a way to fig out which aging 747 is servicing the route on that day.?

Specifically I'm hoping to avoid the worst of the worst Philip Island VH OEB. From previous experience I know this aircraft has an IFE system from the late 90s and lacks the depth of content to keep the little ones entertained. ( although the extra bathroom for PE us helpful) .
Any ideas ?

ExpertFlyer is currently showing the seat map for the main 747 fleet (ie not OEB). Easy enough to see that it has J and not the old F at the front of the main deck.

When did you last fly on VH-OEB? It apparantly had its configuration changed in July 2013.

Checking to see if anyone knows if all the current 10 747s have sky beds. We are doing a family holiday in Sept to Santiago and flying QF27/28.

Did some research looking at the seating maps and only VH-OEB has the old first class seats. Am assuming the rest have the Skybed.
