3 days ago I posted here to point out that there seemed to be some kind of spam attack on AUSBT with multiple identical postings re antivirus software. For some reason my post is no longer readable but originally it read:
The AusBT live thread is going crazy right now with multiple postings about various antivirus renewals. Looks like a spam attack!!
We appreciate all reports of inappropriate comments on the site, but please use the dedicated reporting tool for this by clicking the little flag icon next to the troublesome post, which brings it to our attention through a different system, rather than creating a new thread about it (which, while well-intentioned, creates an extra post for us to remove - because once a spam post is nuked, there should ideally be no traces of it, from the original post or otherwise).
There's no need to report multiple spam posts, either - when a single post is flagged for our attention via the reporting system, we can see all of that user's recent comments, and if necessary, delete everything they've posted with a single click. :)

Thanks for the reply Chris. The posts were coming from several users accounts as I’m sure you discovered.
I didn’t open any of the posts myself, as original posted “the live feed was going crazy”. So I didn’t notice any flag to click on. Will bear this in mind if I see this happening in the live feed again whilst I’m reading an article.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I always enjoy your articles and reviews.
