Hi, I understand that the rules for the round the world redemption limits stopovers to 5 cities and 2 transits (less than 24 hours). My question is, whether I am allowed to transit through a city that I already stopped over at. E.g., MEL-LAX (stop) then JFK-LAX(transit)-MEL

You’re not allowed to re-trace your steps, so no

Is this a Qantas points redemption?

I think there might be exceptions if that transit is a necessary part of continuing your journey in the same direction.
