QF website now showing that Monday will be the end of the double SC booking period. Very convienient as work’s booking a whole bunch of J travel (including some QF flights for yours truly) on Monday!
My work just booked me a couple of long haul trips two days ago. I should get something like 1400SC if the double status applies. I registered beforehand and hopefully the bookings made by our agent, made on Friday, count? Appreciate insight if you all have it?
I might accidentally hit a decent status with Qantas (I’m mostly a VA customer). This sort of thing might be enough to convince me give Qantas another look. I was really upset with them that they didn’t status match me/or offer a challenge to anything (even silver) with 3000SC and multiple J bookings on Virgin/Singapore Airlines.
Hi Rigs - doing the same. Currently VA Platinum but with my new position at work I travel Internationally more then I do domestically. Trips have been booked and I should hit QF Platinum sometime in April with the double status. While I love travelling VA, internationally the network is way to fractured. Let see how QF and Oneworld goes.....

Pretty much. I’m sitting in San Diago waiting to see how long these credits will take to start pumping through. I will give Qantas one thing, the SC’s on their own bookings do move into my account faster than with Virgin.

With some of the prices Qantas are wanting on some routes reaching higher status just isn’t all that attractive.
