Do you have lounge recommendations for July, August 2019?
(QFGold, OW Sapphire)

BNE-HKG QF (J)
HKG-LHR BA (F)

LHR-SIN BA (F)
(LHR-T5, Concorde lounge, of course)
SIN-MEL QF (F)

I was not impressed with SIN QF lounge, it reminds me of a shopping centre food court and I personally find HKG QF to be very noisy.

Cathay Pier F in HKG is wonderful.

My view is that Hong Kong probably offers the best choice of OW lounges anywhere in the world. I would probably second Sid's suggestion, though the Wing is also good. I personally like the Qantas lounge in HK as well, depending on how long you've got or what you want to do, you could visit more than one. If you're leaving from T5 at LHR and you can access the Concorde Room then nothing else there gets close (bar set low mind). Ironically there are much better OW lounges at T3 at Heathrow, from where not that many BA flights leave. The SIN QF lounge sure gets busy at peak times, personally I'd say you're being a bit harsh, but I take your general point. Sadly your timetable means you will be heading through just prior to when the new QF First lounge is due to open in November. You can use the Emirates lounge, which isn't too bad. You can also access the BA lounge, which is bang next door to the Qantas lounge and is (usually) much less crowded, if you want a shower, its usually the best place to go in my experience. Unfortunately as your onward flight from SIN is with QF not BA you won't be able to access the Concorde Bar which is within the BA lounge.

You can visit if you have a Qantas departure, as the flight from Singapore to Melb is on Qantas, entry is permitted

Agree with SIN QF lounge, packed and over rated ie I think MEL may be a little better. If in transit go to lounge for freshen up, quick snack and drink if needed and then go for a walk, better for you after all the fine food in BA F...!!!

As a QF passenger, you will be able to use the EK lounge in SIN, which will be the best option.

Hong Kong - Cathay F lounges - all good so choose the one closest to your departure gate.

Singapore - Emirates lounge

I do transit in SIN regularly and I would recommend British Airways lounge if the opening hours match. Qantas lounge is too busy and noisy though the shower and food option are better I think.

But BA has better wine offering and so much more peaceful. If I have longer layover I go to Qantas lounge for shower and maybe light meal before transiting to BA lounge. Otherwise just BA lounge straight. You dont miss a thing.

For Hong Kong, the Wing first class lounge is quiet and luxurious. Make sure you get the cabana, almost like a hotel room with bathtub that you can enjoy for 90 minutes. The Pier first class is really good but I struggled to find a place to sit the last time I was there.

I would try the Pier, nice food and a massage, but then if you have time, stretch your legs and head across to the Wing - enjoy their champagne bar. The a la carte dinner service, and definitely get into a cabana for a relaxing soak in the bath before your next flight. There's something surprisingly odd about taking a bath in an airport!

Concur with this and to reiterate. QF in Singapore can be a nightmare at peak transit times. So more than once have dived into BA to shower and freshen up.

I’m Gold QFF, flying QF J into HKG and BA F out. Am I allowed to use the CX First Lounge?

I don’t think I’m being harsh about the Q lounges in SIN & HKG. I just remember what it used to be like over 20 years ago. Peace and quiet is underrated.

Last year when the Qantas lounge was closed and we were heading to Europe on Emirates ,we weren't allowed to access the Emirates lounge in SIN tho we could in Dubai !
