Hello all. I'm flying ADL to SYD and then connecting to a BA flight to LHR. All in business. I read the fast track lane was closed at Sydney some time ago for some renovations. Can anyone tell me if it has been reopened?

Thanks.

As of a few weeks ago it hadn't re-opened.

Closed for who knows how long. Message from Sydney airport when I emailed them said could be a few months. Depending on the time of your flight on how long the queue will be. If you have a two hour window to board should be more than enough time.

I transited through Sydney this week and it hadn't been reopened but having said that, as a transit passenger, you enter through a different entrance and my experience during this shut down has been absolutely fine of late. However, I always try to transit through Melbourne rather than Sydney if possible.

The queue was pretty short when I was there a couple of weeks ago - this was around 2pm on a Saturday.

Thanks everyone - that's very helpful. I won't look out for a fast-track option. I have three hours to transfer, so it shouldn't be a problem
