Just received a Qantas 50% double status credit offer, lasting the week, and only valid until 19/12/19? Anyone else receive the offer? Pity.... I don't have any travel plans up until Xmas...
Haven't received anything but am looking everyday both on the website and my emails. Have both domestic and international travel coming up over the next few months and with my anniversary ending soon and a new year starting, a DSC offering would be welcomed.
I am 10 lousy status credits short of 1400 pending the loyalty bonus, so am hanging out for the double SC offer for 2020 and beyond which so far is only on the horizon. Anyone got any real information? The moment it is offered I will want to investigate flights to South America (the Antarctic) and a visit with the kids to Greece, so Qantas better gets its act together. cc the QFF service centre & Qantas marketing.
The offer when it comes is usually fairly broadly made to gold at least as I have received it in the past. The financials are out and they are not too bad, so no need to overly push sales but we shall see in the next month or so.
My Partner and I are both Gold QFF members. She has received 3 50%or 100% Bonus Status Credit offers this year, while I have received 'New Card offers' every few weeks!

Have had my wife and friends who are bronze members receive DSC offers which have been targeted.
I hate to cause disappointment to fellow travellers with the reality that double status credits, 50% status credits and ALL Qantas promotions claiming that it will get you closer to the next level, will not gain you any steps towards the next status credit level.
What they will do is become part of your total annual status credit accumulation. I have just been advised of this bitter pill with my annual accumulation of 1390 status credits and hoping to slip into P with a loyalty bonus. Reality is that only actual flights and the status credits generated by them and nothing else will get you closer to the next lounge space, viz. business with Gold and 1st with Platinum.

Hi Otto the DSC has worked in getting me to Platinum for the past two years and for next year. So the DSC does count (at least for me) but the 50 points status bonus does not count. It is more than lounge space it is also the extra points for upgrades etc.
True, I also hate standing in queues. Seems the QFF service centre has added another layer of magic that works for some and not others with apparent individual interpretations of what ought to be added to the actual status credit total and what not. All I can with some envy add: Enjoy!

Do they only offer bonus/double SC promos for P,P1 and CL? I'm Gold and Nada, just rubbish offers for shopping at certain retailers...
Im QF Gold and i received the offer for a specific destination that i had been looking at a few days earlier , same thing happened last year in the same circumstances
Mea Culpa fellow recreational travellers. have just re-read the epistle from the QFFSC and have regrettably misread the message. None of the promotions, e.g. double status credits, etc will generate a bonus loyalty credit. Phew! Will have to do a status credit run to get the missing 10 credits to hit P......... Albury here I come!
