Could some of stat gurus here help me? Has there been a reduction of business class seats from Brisbane to Los angeles? Compared to the 747 vs the two dreamliners?

Or is it actually more seats?

I'm looking for a seat early april and the price is north of $10,000. Or is it the normal price and a sale is round the corner when school starts and business traffic comes back on and leisure travel stops??

747: 7 x 58 = 406

787: 13 x 42 = 546 now,

787: 10 x 42 = 420 by early April

I will note that in addition to GregXL's response, the reduction by 3x 787 frequencies is to make way for Brisbane to San Francisco with an addition Brisbane to Chicago route to launch by April. Overall, a huge increase to US capacity overall.

Presumably with the other flights taking over some of the traffic will move too, so whilst LAX is going down demand should also go down due to the other flights.

Yup, booked two return tickets. QF to SFO under $5700, and VA was $5010. Pretty cool

Who did you book with? QF is direct, but VA has a better J product AND you save almost $1,400. I'd go with VA TBH.
