Why VA lounge? Is there nowhere else at BNE to change a nappy?
If I have access to a quieter and likely cleaner and more hygienic place to change my baby's nappy, why wouldn't I choose that option?
Agree with you on that one sim86on, I have done exactly the same thing before. I expect tommygun and tripleplatinum2 get their coffee at a public cafe even though they could get one in the lounge :)
Just been refused lounge entry on arrival at Perth !! Virgin Platinum Mel-Per . WtF ?? Since when ?? I have travelled last three years weekly and use the benefit for 60mins to charge iPhone and bathrooms . CHANGE THE POLICY NOW . Or suffer the walkout ....

Does anyone know if VA has resumed allowing Platinum and Business passengers to access the lounge upon arrival? Thanks.

Short answer: No.
Attempted on arrival access (as platinum & flying business) on arrival in BNE on the Australia Day long weekend.
The first answer was no - due to COVID, but after explaining we just wanted to quickly change the baby’s nappy, we were allowed in.

I’ve been able to gain access on arrival when I’ve used the self service kiosk, but was denied when I approached the counter on a separate occasion.

Come on over to QF. Access on arrival always for WP’s.

Some of the responses above leave me wondering - is it time to change the name from Executive Traveller to Entitled Traveller?
