Emirates opens new lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
Emirates has opened the first of its new-look lounges at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport.
With the same interior design as Emirates' Concourse A Lounges in Dubai, the refurbished lounge is the first in a rolling worldwide refresh of the Emirates lounge network.
It's open to first class and business class passengers as well as Platinum and Gold members of Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programme and the equivalent Qantas Platinum and Gold members when travelling on an Emirates or codeshared Qantas/Emirates flight.

The CDG lounge didn't just get a facelift – it's been relocated to a more central location between Terminals 2A and 2C, for easier access and views onto the tarmac.
The new digs are almost two-thirds larger than the previous lounge, with room for up to 156 travellers across both formal and relaxed seating areas with shower facilities, a dining area, hot and cold gourmet buffet and an extensive beverage service.
Emirates says its other 35 global lounges will be refurbished to match the new design over the next 18 to 24 months.

The new design looks much better than the previous theme that had splashes of gold everywhere which resembled some dictator's lounge room.

When will this happen in Rome ?
The lounge situation is pretty bad there. Alitalia have there own which is offcourse pretty good. Then the rest have only 1 lounge that is really average , and very tired, and grumpy staff .
