Update | The Qantas Singapore Lounge is now open – click here for our full report.
Previous | Qantas will open its new lounge at Singapore’s Changi Airport tomorrow evening, but we’ve already got the first photos to whet your appetite.
And we think ‘appetite’ is quite appropriate, as these food-centric snaps come courtesy of the Twitter account of Qantas superchef Neil Perry.
Through his Rockpool group, Perry is overseeing the lounge’s dining experience – and it promises to be quite an experience, we can assure you.
It’s certainly different to anything that Qantas has ever done before, and that includes the Sydney and Melbourne first class lounges where Rockpool dishes delight the Red Roo’s top-shelf travellers.
Dining will be based on dishes inspired by Perry’s Spice Temple restaurant plus signature cocktails.
Did somebody say 'cocktails'..?
We’ll catch up with Perry, and Qantas International CEO Simon Hickey, at the official opening ceremony for the Qantas Singapore Lounge tomorrow afternoon, so stay tuned to the AusBT Twitter channel for more photos and watch for a full rundown later that evening.

Looks impressive. Shame QF have cut their daily service from Perth to Singapore to ONE flight. So much for their new engaging with Asia strategy.
