Hertz customers can now drive away in new high-end Audi A3 Sportback, A4 Sedan, Q5 SUV and Q7 SUVs at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth airports.
Targeted towards renters of smaller cars seeking a little more prestige, the five-door Audi A3 Sportback is a good fit for both corporate travellers doing business and jetsetters enjoying a weekend away…
… while the Audi A4 Sedan proves a slightly larger option if you’ll also be chauffeuring your colleagues or clients, or have more to carry for exhibitions and trade shows.
The Q5 SUV is the next step upward in the range for bigger groups or where more headroom is desired, joined by all-wheel drive that suits beaches and mountain expeditions in addition to conventional city roads.
Maxing out the new vehicles in Hertz’s Prestige Collection is the Audi Q7 SUV, with similar technology as the Q5 SUV but with more of a designer look.
Travellers can reserve their Audi via the Hertz website after entering their travel dates and selecting a participating airport from those above.

Don't think you would find too many managers approving an expense report with an audi car hire on it!

Depends on your job and your manager, I suppose. Maybe if you need to drive some clients around.
I did a bit of a search at BNE and found the A4 going for $176 a day compared to $86 a day for a Camry or $70 a day for a Yaris or something. Alternatively, a Porsche Boxster would be a whopping $476 for the day.
Personally I'd stick with the Camry, since a base-model Audi really isn't enough to get my juices flowing. Honestly if you debadged them both you wouldn't perceive a huge difference between the two.

Nice.Although a bit on the fancy side It would be nice when ones order a small automatic they get something other than the usual Pulsar,Corolla,Cerato or Elantra for a change.Sadly unavailable in South Australia are these Audi's.

Funny way of treating posts. I point out the Audi A3 picture represented, previously, on this article is actually not an A3 Sportback, but an RS3. My post is deleted, but the picture gets updated to now correctly represent a picture of an Audi A3 Sportback - a simple thanks would have sufficed...

They are available at Adelaide Airport, hired an A3 yesterday. They had three just waiting for the upgrade.... Staff were pushing them too. Bill escalated considerably as the extras obviously increase in line with these being 'premium'. Could of hired a standard hatch for a third of the cost. Nice car though but at almost $200 for a day, not again...

Also of note, Audi's don't have a direct USB port so if your iPhone is running flat don't rely on charging it in the car. Being unaware I was quite annoyed, and un-contactable...
