Introducing the American Airlines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
From October 31 2017, American Airlines will be bringing its brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner service to the Sydney – Los Angeles transpacific route.

The 787-9 Dreamliner offers up some significant changes, including the addition of a new travel experience, Premium Economy, as well as enhanced Business, Main Cabin and Main Cabin Extra seats.
The 787-9 features 30 fully lie-flat, all-aisle access Business seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, as well as 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration.
At the rear of the American Airlines 787-9 Dreamliner, you’ll find 34 Main Cabin Extra seats with up to 6 inches of additional leg room in a 3-3-3 configuration, plus 200 Main Cabin seats arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration.
As a larger variant of the Dreamliner range, the 787-9 also offers additional advanced features to enhance your trip, including larger dimmable windows, improved cabin humidity and a quieter flight.
Every seat in the American Airlines 787-9 Dreamliner offers a personal seatback free entertainment system with touchscreen, power and USB ports. Additionally, you’ll be able to access an onboard Wi-Fi system for a fee, providing you with internet access in case you need to get last minute tasks out of the way.
