Malaysia Airlines increases Perth-KL flights

Malaysia Airlines will boost its direct flights between Perth and Kuala Lumpur this month, adding two extra services each week.

The increase will see MAS running 12 flights per week on the PER-KUL route from 27 November 2013 to 30 March 2014.

During that period Malaysia Airlines' flight MH126 will depart Perth on every Wednesday as well as Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – the flight leaves Perth at 2.50am and arrives into Kuala Lumpur at 8.20am.

The return flight MH127 will add Tuesday to its ex-KL schedule in addition to the current Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday roster. This leaves Kuala Lumpur at 8.20pm to reach Perth at 1.50am the following day.

These are on top of the daily MH124/125 service. The extra flights will add 562 seats per week, or a 20 percent growth in capacity, onto the route.

Malaysia Airlines' MH126/127 are flown on an Airbus A330-300 aircraft configured with 36 seats in business class and 245 seats in economy. Business class offers a spacious 60 inch seat pitch that transforms into an angled lie-flat bed at a 12 degree sleeping angle.
