Melbourne: Mantra on the Park apartment hotel completes revamp

Melbourne apartment hotel Mantra on the Park has just completed a full upgrade to all its 144 rooms.

Located at the top end of Exhibition street, the hotel is one of the numerous apartment hotels finding favour with business travellers who want more than just a room to stay in on their trip.

Mantra on the Park offers 144 one and two bedroom apartments, plus split-level three bedroom penthouses at the top of the building.

Every apartment has a full kitchen, separate lounge and dining areas, balcony overlooking the city skyline or Carlton Gardens, and laundry facilities. There's also an indoor pool -- though not in your apartment. You'll have to go downstairs for that.

On offer in each apartment you'll find new furniture, kitchens and appliances, 37-inch flatscreen TVs, iPod docking stations, Internet access.

Mantra in the Park also provides a 24-hour reception, secure underground parking, express check-in, daily housekeeping, the Terrace restaurant bar & grill, laundry and dry cleaning services, and room service for breakfast or dinner.
